Yes, you read the title correctly, there are zombies in Call of Duty 5. No, the campaign story mode didn't turn into a sci-fi story. Treyarch just announced that there will be a zombie mode in COD5. The only way you can unlock the game mode is by beating the campaign mode first to be able to play it.

COD5: Zombie Mode
So apparently from the video we've just seen, you and up to three other players are stuck in a house fending off the flesh-eating zombies. You can board up the windows Half-Life 2 style to protect your base from the invasion of Nazi zombies. Communication is vital for everyone to survive such as updating your teammates know what you are doing at all times and what is happening around your area.
What excites me the most is that there are INFINITE levels, meaning the zombie outbreak will NEVER stop until everyone is dead/infected. This makes teamwork and communication more important than it already is. Supposedly the folks at Treyarch can only go up to level 23/24, will you help me get pass that once the game comes out?
The only thing that puzzles me is that they mentioned money. Money? Is the use of xp for unlocking weapons out the window and we have to rely on money to get what we want instead of using our skill or play time? Or is just for that game mode where you receive money as you kill the zombies? I'm really hoping it's the second one, but only time will tell.
Can the November 11 release date for Call of Duty: World at War cannot come any faster?!
UPDATE: Here's gameplay from the zombie mode, seems pretty fun/intense to me.
